i love my years of growin up on hiphop
1980 at age 8 - SUGAR HILL first album "RAPPERS DELIGHT"
1984 at age 12 - THE PEAK OF THE BREAKIN ERA & RUN-DMC arrived
1988 at age 17 - RAKIM, KOOL G.RAP, KANE, & KRS-1 was out
1993 at age 21 - WUTANG arrived
1995 at age 24 - EAST & WEST COAST RAP was at its peak, & the NEWYORK club seen was HOT
2003 at age 31 - G-UNIT was on FIRE
but now in 2009 at age 37, HIPHOP IS DEAD, but im fortunate to be young in its best years :)

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. But I don't think Nas should be dissed for saying Hip Hop is Dead. Peep this.
Look at all the great songs and controversy that it brought. Nas is smart. What he did was create a movement that shows how much Hip Hop IS STILL ALIVE.
