at least for me it was not hard to figure out the ending of the movie in the middle of it. well, nice music, beautiful actress, little bit odd plot, the dialogues could be more profound and in the same way simple. in general it is ok movie but in my opinion not the first place in project direct competition.

I am not very good in English but ... This is to see how the Brazilian always puts excitement in the things it does. What we lack in Brazil is a strong support to the local cinema, each day is growing but little. Lack investors. That was a beautiful Short-Metragem. And as our colleague down here already explained, the funeral here in Brazil is something quick to respect the pain family. Very good

Brazilian funerals are not long as American ones, a funeral takes 2-4 hours tops. After the corpse is buried there is no reception or party, each person goes by their own way. If she departed the funeral prior to the burial and stayed out for 2 hours that would be time enought for her mother to return home.

The girl was running away from her father's funeral, not wanting to face the loss. She then finds a strange man on the street that tells her about the importance of "ties". Afterword she discovers the man was a ghostly/spiritual manifestation of her late father.

I liked it and had an emotional response to the end. The only thing that seemed odd to me was that if she left the funeral and was running from it, why was her mom already at home sorting things and not at the funeral? There appeared to be no lapse of time.
