Fede2 is correct. There are many forms of "capitalism", and it's important to not confuse capitalism with the concept of the market economy. Classical liberals (true American "conservatives") were opposed to the legal-person status given to corporations by the Supreme Court. Vinoa, the US is not moving towards Marxism ... a word with many meanings as well. It's simply a different form of capitalism, dominated by corporations and their interests.
