Lol, he has no choice...Stephen would be most upset if Alan didn't just do as he was told.

Speaking only for myself, WorldNews, I was not in the least offended by your referring to contradictory sources. Similarly, I hope you won't take offense at the suggest that, if you are bored and tired with reading comments on this thread, you simply stop reading them? Surely it is unreasonable to expect others to cease discussions just because you are tired of them. That was honestly not meaning to be nasty, by the way.

Scottish AND Welsh... so you don't know whether to hate us English or just be resentful ;) I wouldn't know about telecom centres but the law: ah, yes. I've worked as a legal translator, which goes some way to explaining my nitpicking tendencies. When you're used to things being made unambiguous, you can't help getting used to it. Funny to me is that sometimes lawyers write such incredibly long sentences they don't notice that they've forgotten to put in the verb!

Hmm to be honest .. i just appreciate the clip for its humour :p x

O. K., Let me put it this way... ...I've found many sources which contradict what Stephen is saying (i. e. it should be "none of them work"), and I've found sources supporting him (i. e. "none of them WORKS"). I'm sorry if I have offended anyone by referring to contradictory sources... Interestingly, there seems to be no universal rule, or at least no consistent rule for this problem. I'm sorry for any offence, but can you stop sending comments on the matter, it's getting boring and tiresome.

LOL! Thank you. but anybody who has ever actually MET me would never accuse me of snobbery! :) I think my reason for my liking of using proper use of language is that although i am scottish my dad is welsh & always encouraged me to talk correctly. And I'm also a law student who is also works for a telecom centre so i must speak correctly. but thank you for your support! :)
