Everyone seems to think that the vocalist is very Kurt Cobain-ish. While I see that resemblance, his vocal stylings remind me of a hybrid mix of Axl Rose + Kurt.

Sounds like Pearl Jam. But I know what you mean. It is the screaming vocals that remind me of Nirvana.
