I didn't say anything about second-hand smoke. I said that they would die, not people around them. Only their family is affected unless they smoke outside. I understandabout them being treated like shit in public and I hate it when people say they'll die from second-hand smoke simply by passing through a cloud of smoke on the street.They aren't respecting the fact that the people are actually OUTSIDE. I wasn't making an argument, I was simply stating a point. I apologize if I came off as bitter.

Smoking cigars occasionally even if you inhale, isn't as bad because your lungs can filter out that stuff. It only stays in your lungs when it becomes overwhelmed due to chronic smoking. If tar stayed in your lungs then so would air pollutants. Only when its too much to filter does it actually stay. Cigar smoking however poses anohter problem, tobacco itself is cancerous. So your mouth touches the cancerous substance directly. Most think its chemicals but its tobacco too.

When only smoking moderately your lungs will actually filter out a high percentage of the tar etc... Problem is, tobacco companies don't want you using then occasionally, they make them more addictive with other chemicals added so you can't just smoke one. The same way you can't drink one coke or eat one chip. It's all chemicals and it's all bad and unnatural. Drinking soda kills, but we do it anyway.

i dont smoke cigarettes, i smoke weed. but i still respect those who smoke cigarettes. Cig smokers are treated like shit out in public when they arent doing any damage to anyone but themselves. dont give me that second hand smoke arguement its pure bullshit smelling one cigarette isnt going to hurt anyone

No one said they don't, he's just showing those who don't think it's THAT bad for them, that they should at least consider what it's doing to them. But if they don't want to consider it, well, ignorance is bliss. Until they die, that is...
