Björk is the only artist, who is able to connect magic, mystery, passion, emotion and sex to each other.Indeed this song and video are so wonderful and not obscene just because björk. By a christina aguilera or britney spears that would be tacky.

I seriously cringe every time it shows her getting pierced. Especially at 3:48 . But she's beautiful nonetheless. I swear, she's got the mind, voice, and face of a goddess.

When it finally shows her, I get sucked up into the video...with the soft gray background, her hair flying and the soft lighting. I competely zone into the song. I almost get mad when it flashes white to show the piercing on the back because it takes me away from the comforting scene. beautiful video.

this is such an opposite to 99% of today's music videos. sure there's nudity but it has a meaning, it's not just nudity for nudity's sake. and it's so real, not photoshopped to perfection, you can see her small wrinkles and sweat glands and her flaws make her even more beautiful and special. |
