this guy's right, don't buy knockoffs
he has a knockoff battery explode in his laptop bag, oh if he's unlucky he just damage his laptop
most of the teenagers have ipods in their hands or pockets, imagine that thing popping in ur crotch or hand, u know u fking love both of them so make sure u protect them

All they do is reverse engineer it take it apart & copy the PCB and where & what the electronic components are (transistors, resistors etc & their value) take note of the dimensions were everything is then just duplicate & put them together in mass making there own.
that last black one was an original circuit design made to look like an ipod by its exterior & packaging alone so a different kind of knock off more of an after thought. But yeah some of theses cheap ones do work quite well

This is because china dosent have patent rights. So they just take stuff that isnt theirs, and remake it to look almost the same to trick people.

wow. i've never imagined ipod knockoffs arrived in US. here in the philippines you will see ALMOST ALL original stuffs to have knockoffs: from i-pods to handsets(especially NOKIA brand phones) which i tend to call disposable "things" since it's unrepairable and you wouldn't know when it will last. the reason people here were buying knockoffs since it's cheap (almost 75% cheaper). but i still choose original because of the quality.
