The war with japan not happenned. In the time we live in, something happenned during the vietnam war. The US gave cash to all countries in southeast asia that were capitalis, including japan. This was to prevent communis spread further. This is the reason why japan is one of the greatest economics by now. However, becuase they lost the second world war, they are not allowed to have an army. We assume this also happenned in RA exept with the ww2 in the pacific which empire right to build an army.

The main point still remains that they did huge retcon on it - in TS, as you can see, Beadreau said they could translate everything with the Tacitus whole again.

Sorry, that was my bad. I misread it. It says, that GDI could only decipher that warning and not the rest.

No, you're wrong. It contains information on Tiberium-related science. It also contained messages, transmissions, and other such information on the Scrin and a race that they encountered and fought against before. GDI somehow feared that it was a warning (symobolically) to an Alien invasion.

Tiberium Wars' intelligence files says that the Tacitus only contained a warning about an upcoming Scrin invasion and nothing more. But how could Kane know about the "Ichor-LQ-Explosion". Or why would he hunt for the Tacitus with LEGION if it only has a warning?
EA sucks fucking big. They should have left Westwood alone.

Errr I mean it isn't so impossible at all.

Can't argue with that really, but sounds way too...dumb?
(November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Incorrect. World War II and onwards never happened due to Einstein erasing Hitler from the timeline. That is what causes Red Alert to even occur. Also presumably in that timeline, Kane lived, as he was seen as Stalin's adviser. We can at least assume the war with Japan happened as that wouldn't have been affected by Hitler's existence, and in Red Alert 2, monuments relating to the war with Japan exist - though this could be laziness at research again.

So now your talking about RA2, which is balanced. But plotwise, the American military is reduced two commanders, so it's severely understaffed, and the Soviets are struggling with it. Also, everything in RA2 that happened in the Soviet campaign isn't canon. Besides that, if the Soviets didn't have Yuri they would have been annihilated shortly into their invasion. |
