This movie had so much potential, don't get me wrong it still a good movie, but after seeing tons of clips and being a huge Bowie/Iggy fan, when I finally got around to seeing the whole thing it was very underwhelmed. The soundtrack though is phenomenal, one of the rare cases where the soundtrack is better than the movie itself.

Too many Bowie references & parodies scattered all over the movie without any sense of timing; some Cobain thrown in (Kurt Cobain & Glam Rock just don't combine), Iggy Pop and Syd Barrett... just a big mess of a movie.
