Here is something that alot of people don't know .Steve Winwood was almost picked as the lead singer for Led Zepplin.But Jimmy Page heard Robert Plant in a little club & you know the rest of the story.

I think he took a good amount of his soloing from Clapton. There styles seems very similar, then again they were in a band together.

Winwood has always been one of my favorites, but the guitar is not his best instrument. He has always been most powerful at the helm of THE monster voice of Rock and Roll: the Hammond B3.
