Another way, sadly a very common way of creating peace (for the moment) is to point a gun to a guys head and say "stop fighting" and the guy will of course stop fighting aslong as that gun is pointed to hes head but the day you take away the gun he will still be your enemy and the hatred against you is so deeply rooted so finding a peacefull solution to the problem is lightyears away. Politicians all over the world should learn more from how conflicts are solved on kindergardens.

Imagine to kids that are fighting each other. What are the classic way of solving that problem? well to let them find a solution to the problem by verbal communication instead of violence. Admit their good and bad sides and hopefully after a while seperate as friends. The wrong way is to forbid them from communication and look them up in one closet each and let their hatred against each other grow, flourish and get rooted. In other words: Communicate with the enemy is the only way to find peace
